After obviously saying yes to the offer, Rush says the company went all out to get Bonhomme the perfect cover.

“It felt like a serious thing,” he said.

“They brought in a photographer and rented a studio and I had to take my dog ​​to this professional photographer.

“He was like a legit role model.”

Rush and Bonhomme – French for “Good Boy” – are among several Canadian pets and their owners participating in Royale’s Home for Every Pet project, which raises funds and awareness for shelter animals in need of care. adopted across the country.

Rush says his social media has been flooded with photos of people with Bonhomme toilet paper, but no one is prouder than the former Bluebomber’s mother.
