This image of PM Modi holding a picture frame of Sidhu Moose Wala is a transformed image

A image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi holding the photo frame with the photo of the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala is being shared on social media. Let’s check the assertion made in the message.

To claim: PM Modi holding the photo frame of the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.

Do: According to the Prime Minister’s official website, the original image shows Prime Minister Modi holding the specimen of various Indian gold coins, not the photo of Sidhu Moose Wala. This launching event of several gold related programs took place in New Delhi on 05 November 2015 as Sidhu Moose Wala passed away in 2022. Hence, the claim made in the post is FAKE.
