Polaroid Goes All Batman With New Black Polaroid Go And Film

The funky, tiny Polaroid Go just released in a sleek new black colorway that The Batman would be proud of.

At its heart it’s still, of course, the same great Polaroid Go pocket camera – which is one of the best instant cameras around. The cool new colorway doesn’t add anything new to the feature set, although it does look decidedly dark and brooding – and it also matches the groovy new Polaroid Go Black Frame Edition film packs.

“The Polaroid Go is a camera everyone will fall in love with faster than it takes a photo to grow,” we wrote in our Polaroid Go review. Larger instant cameras balance exposures better, and Rival Instax Mini cameras offer slightly better image quality indoors – but none are as fun to use, or make you as many friends, as the Go…which still produces pleasing photos.

“One consideration is that the Instax Mini film is cheaper than the Polaroid Go film, but you’ll also have to replace those AA batteries on the Mini whereas the Go just needs USB to recharge power. And the Go offers a double exposure, which you’ll only get if you go for more expensive options like the Instax Mini 90.

“A fun and funky little camera, the Polaroid Go will be the star of your next party and will deposit endless amounts of memories in your pocket or wallet. And if you have kids, this could be the perfect camera for kids. little hands to start.”

The black Polaroid Go is available for $99.99 / £109.99 (Australian pricing TBC) direct from the Polaroid websitewith the Polaroid Go Color Film Double Pack ‑ Black Frame Edition for $19.99 / £18.99.
