LAST WEEK’S MYSTERY, “Critter”, features a small beaver, one of many animal figurines that adorn a Marion Square fountain at the corner of King and Calhoun streets. The fourth person to identify him was Jessica Liebhaber of Mount Pleasant. George Graf of Palmyra, Virginia identified the beaver as a bronze cast by Charleston artist Scott Penegar.
Every Monday the city paper features a mystery photo taken somewhere in the Lowcountry. We encourage you to guess — and be sure to share your name and city in which you live. We will uncover the mystery the following week and, from time to time, offer a prize.
PRIME: If you would like to submit a mystery photo taken by you for us to share, send it to our mystery email address. Be sure to put “Submission” in the subject line.
MYSTERIES OF THE PAST: As the time for guessing on these mysteries is over, you might like to see mysterious old photos that intrigue readers. Enjoy!
