In 2020, Lenovo unveiled its Smart Frame. This is basically a display designed to look like a photo / picture frame that will allow you to upload photos to it so that it can be displayed. This is useful if you can’t choose a photo or piece of art to hang on your wall and want to be able to turn it off when you need to.
At CES 2022, Lenovo announced that it will release a software update for the Smart Frame in the first quarter of 2022. With this software update, Lenovo says that users will be able to support Instagram photos, this which means that if you upload your photos to Instagram, you will be able to view them in the Smart Frame.
This can actually be a really useful feature, especially if you are a photographer or an artist and want a way to showcase your work. It might even be useful for art gallery owners or restorers who could use these frames to show off photos that might have been posted by their clients, or to have an ever-growing gallery to help keep things vibrant.
Lenovo had already launched the Smart Frame on Indiegogo in 2020 and it is currently available for purchase in North America and Australia.
