Leaked cop exam paper: Suspect detained in Delhi | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Rajasthan police on Friday arrested a New Delhi suspect for his alleged involvement in the constable paper leak case.
The Special Operations Group (SOG) identified the suspect as Mohan. Rajasthan police had been looking for Mohan since the leaked paper was discovered.
The police action comes a day after the SOG arrested five people, including a police inspector, for their alleged involvement in the case. The paper was leaked ahead of the second quarter exam on May 14 from Diwakar School in Jhotwara here.
Police later claimed to have arrested Mohan’s wife, Priya. Police headquarters announced on Monday that it had scrapped the exam for the particular shift and decided to postpone it to a later date.
Police said 14 people have been arrested so far in the paper leak case. Police said they also suspected Mohan’s involvement in the same case and a search was organized to find him. The police had solved the case after finding the paper from the leaked paper and discovering that the design of the floor in the photo matched that of the school in Diwakar.
Police said the newspaper photo also showed shoes, which they found were identical to the ones Mohan was wearing. A total of 19 lakh candidates had applied for the Constable Recruitment Examination, which was held in two shifts at 470 centers across the state from last May 13 and ended on May 16.
