Jessica Simpson has sparked concern among fans after posting a new photo showing her excessively slim figure.
The singer’s massive weight loss has been a concern for fans lately.
The photo, posted to the singer instagramshows Jessica, 41, in a sleek brown blazer, denim jeans and peep toe heels.
She captioned the post, “Denim endorsement meeting outfit.”
And while the artist might be ready to approve of the designs for her Jessica Simpson clothing line, many fans weren’t as approving of the withered appearance in the photo.
One fan commented, “Wow you’re slim.”
Another commenter went further, saying, “You look a little too skinny. You look gorgeous just the way you are.”
A third fan simply wrote: “[too] slim.”
Some fans weren’t as critical and even praised Jessica for her weight loss journey.
One person wrote, “Tell me the secret to weight loss. I’m so proud of you. I need to lose 100 pounds for my health.”
While another added: “Please share your diet and exercise routine. Or sell it, people will buy!”
WEIGHT LOSS TROUBLES
This isn’t the first time fans have worried about the actress’ drastic change in appearance.
Jessica recently sparked health concerns after sharing a mirror selfie with instagram.
She posed in a long-sleeved black shirt with holes in it, baggy black pants around the crotch, black ankle boots and a matching handbag.
The Dukes of Hazzard star wore her hair in long blonde waves and finished the look with a hat and large sunglasses.
However, fans were more interested in Jessica’s slim figure, as they rushed to the comments to discuss her apparent weight loss.
“It’s okay?” one follower asked, while a second agreed, “I’m glad someone said it. I’m worried.”
“What happened with her oh my god,” wrote a third with a crying emoji.
One person wrote a more detailed opinion on Jessica’s weight loss and the industry in general.
“Always beautiful, curvy or thin. I loved you and your curves. I looked like a very healthy role model. I know you work hard to be thin and the industry loves thinness, but you and your curves were gorgeous.”
Jessica’s transformation followed her honest discussion about her journey to sobriety in November last year.
The mother-of-three shared an unrecognizable photo of herself as she opened up about her decision to quit drinking.
The fashion designer posted the no-makeup photo from a few years ago as she sat alone in the dark looking sad and upset.
“This person in the early morning of November 1, 2017 is an unrecognizable version of myself,” she explained in the caption.
“I had so many discoveries to unlock and explore. I knew that at this exact moment, I would allow myself to reclaim my light, show victory over my inner battle of self-respect, and brave this world with piercing clarity.
“Personally, in order to do this, I needed to stop drinking alcohol, because it kept my mind and heart going in the same direction, and quite honestly, I was exhausted.
“I wanted to feel the pain so I could wear it as a badge of honor.”
‘I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT’
Jessica went on to say that she doesn’t want to live with ‘regrets and remorse’ in life and feels the only way to do that is to follow a new path ‘in this beautiful world’.
“I can’t believe it’s been four years! It feels like maybe two. I think that’s a good thing. Ha,” she joked.
Continuing, the star shared in her honest note, “There’s so much stigma around the word alcoholism or the label of an alcoholic.
“The real work that needed to be done in my life was to accept failure, pain, breakup and self-sabotage.
“Alcohol was not the problem. I was. I didn’t like myself. I did not respect my own power. Today I do.
Jessica concluded, “I’ve eased the fears and accepted the parts of my life that are just sad.
“I possess my personal power with soulful courage. I’m wildly honest and comfortably open. I’m free.”
Since beginning her sobriety journey in 2017, Jessica has also been hard at work on the fitness side of her health overhaul.
She first flaunted her 100lb weight loss in Daisy Dukes denim shorts for a late 2019 fashion campaign, just months after giving birth to daughter Birdie.
The blonde shares her children Maxwell, Ace and Birdie with husband Eric Johnson.
