LOS ANGELES, December 01, 2021– (BUSINESS WIRE) – Zig-Zag and Turning Point Brands, Inc. (NYSE: TPB) today announced the launch of Zig-Zag Studio (or “Studio”), the next chapter in the evolution of content, collaborations and media supporting the iconic Zig-Zag brand, on ZigZag.com.

For decades, Zig-Zag has been widely recognized as a staple in pop culture and the cornerstone of music and tobacco culture. With the launch of Zig-Zag Studio, the brand aims to continue its legacy as a media platform and cultural hub where adult consumers and fans can enjoy exclusive content designed to inspire creativity through storytelling and digital visuals. Featuring artists from a wide range of industries and genres, Zig-Zag Studio will focus on art, culture and lifestyle, while serving as a launching pad for emerging talent, products exclusive and artist collaborations.

“At Zig-Zag, we are focused on creating unique and memorable experiences for our customers,” said Eric Anwar, Senior Director of Zig Zag Marketing. “With the launch of Zig-Zag Studio, we’ve created a platform to shine a light on talent through storytelling and foster new ideas to shape our culture and inspire others to implement positive change in our world.”

Zig-Zag will feature “Studio” in multiple layers that promote native content, including photography, video, and live performances by musical artists. The flagship live musical performance series, titled “Studio Sessions”, will kick off with a full lineup of performances from emerging musical elites such as Sleepy Hallow, Mariah The Scientist, Marc E. Bassy and Nghmre. Filmed live in Southern California, fans will be able to stream the series on YouTube and ZigZag.com. Going forward, Zig-Zag will also feature a variety of established and emerging artists, from hip-hop to EDM.

The Studio’s storytelling video series, “Through My Lens,” gives viewers a glimpse into the backgrounds and unique creative processes of artists – from photographers to producers – with the goal of inspiring the next generation of creators. The series will premiere with Sam Dameshek (photographer), Jeff Cole (digital artist), Matt Gondek (fine artist) and Dot (music producer).

To celebrate the launch of Studio, the Zig-Zag brand will also launch its first limited edition clothing and accessories brand called The 1879 Collection. Named after the year Zig-Zag was founded, the modern collection reflects the pioneering story of Zig-Zag’s French heritage with a range of styles, including vintage embroidered t-shirts, hoodies and sweatpants, as well as varsity jackets and raised leather goods.
