Can Bosch power tools save do-it-yourselfers from a nasty bear?

“We aim to reach workers of all trades, whether they’re starting their careers or are seasoned professionals,” Shannon Blakely, Bosch’s vice president of brand and digital marketing, told Muse. “We feature the work that is happening in an extreme way to highlight the effort these workers put in to get the job done.”

“It was an ambitious shoot,” she adds. “We built a small skyscraper ourselves, filmed with real wrestlers and brought an animatronic bear. But the focus was always our worker and how he was the hero of the script.”

Biscuit Filmworks director Clay Weiner doesn’t go overly funny. Even the beefy bruin proves to be more entertaining than distracting, and Offerman’s soft tones convey the brand’s message with a confident flair.

“Nick has been an avid user of Bosch power tools for over two decades in his woodworking projects,” says Blakely. “We were drawn to his personality and wit. We thought he would be a great and distinctive voice for the job.”
